Today we pray for the sick and dying. You may have a family member or close friend who is sick, or you may be sick yourself. Pray to the God who is healer and giver of fullness of life. Say this prayer in your heart. And imagine God touching you or your friend or family member and giving you comfort.

Prayer for the Sick
Father,

Your love is as wide as the oceans
As deep as the sea
And as tall as the heavens.
May your spirit rise like a mightly wave and come and restore those who are ill.

You are the water of life,
You are a fresh spring,
You are healing rain
To all those who are in need.
Come Lord!

Amen.
