Home is where we come as we are: “Home is life’s undress rehearsal, its backroom, its dressing room.” Because it is life’s dressing room, it is also the place where we prepare ourselves for the stage. In a very real sense, we are who we are because of the homes we experienced in our lives, and because of the homes we live in today.
Today, I invite you to contemplate HOME as you listen to the song below.
1. What is my experience of HOME? Does it bring me positive memories or negative ones? If I do a quick word association, what other words would I associate with the word HOME?
2. At this stage of my life, where do I find my HOME? Is it an actual geographical place, or a more symbolic one, or both? Why do I consider that as my HOME?
